1. Not a medical device

wyll is a digital fitness application for general training support and is not a medical device within the meaning of the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR 2017/745). The app is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, prediction, prognosis, treatment or alleviation of disease or injury. It makes no medical decisions and is not designed to detect individual health risks.

wyll does not replace:

medical advice, diagnosis or treatment,
supervision by qualified trainers or sports physicians,
physiotherapeutic treatment.

Self-reported health information is used solely to adapt training, never for medical purposes.

2. Training at your own risk

Using the app and performing any recommended exercise, training plan or activity is at your own risk. Physical activity carries inherent risks.

Medical advice is expressly recommended before use, in particular in the case of:

known heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis or other chronic illnesses,
current or previous injuries,
prolonged physical inactivity,
pregnancy or breastfeeding,
being under 18 years of age (note: the app is intended exclusively for adults; see Terms § 2).

3. Limits of AI — errors are possible

Training plans, exercise recommendations and adjustment suggestions are generated by an AI system. AI systems can produce incorrect output. The AI:

knows only the data entered by the user,
does not know your actual physical condition at the time of training,
cannot detect sudden changes in your health,
may misinterpret input or produce inconsistent recommendations.

All AI recommendations must be reviewed critically. When in doubt, consult a qualified professional.

4. Stop training immediately

Stop training immediately in the event of: pain of any kind, dizziness or light-headedness, shortness of breath or chest tightness, nausea or vomiting, racing or irregular heartbeat, general malaise.

In a medical emergency, call the emergency services immediately: 112 (Europe).

wyll is not an emergency system and does not provide real-time monitoring of vital signs.

5. Accuracy of content

All content has been prepared to the best of our knowledge. The provider gives no warranty as to its currency, completeness or accuracy; AI-generated output in particular may be outdated, incomplete or unsuitable for your individual situation.

6. Limitation of liability

The provider's liability is governed by § 15 of the Terms. Liability for damage to property and financial loss caused by slight negligence is excluded, unless a material contractual obligation, the protection of life, body or health, or a mandatory statutory provision (in particular the German Product Liability Act) is affected. Where material contractual obligations are breached, liability is limited to the damage typically foreseeable under the contract. The provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.

7. Availability

The provider aims for high availability but cannot guarantee it. Interruptions due to maintenance, technical faults or force majeure do not give rise to any claim for damages.
